The Gingerbread House Event

Cake and Bake began offering their Gingerbread Housebuilding Event in 1999; the year they opened their doors. In the beginning, the event took place right in their store on Squire Drive; however, it soon became apparent that they were going to need more space. Now they fill the banquet room at Bub's Irish Pub, which accomodates 300--and it is a sell-out event, year after year. Though their are new groups each year, there are lots of veteran housebuilders who have been coming for a long time. It's a wonderful project that gives little ones as well as big kids the chance to do something creative and fun, munch on Christmas goodies, and bond with siblings, pals and parents. It gets everyone in the Christmas spirit.

The cost of the event is $40 which provides all the necessary supplies (gingerbread pieces, candy, frosting, snacks, etc) as well as a comfortable space to build your gingerbread house. We recommend signing up well in advance!
